What pictures to put in an escort advertisement

Actually I wrote something already, labeled escort 101. Not mentioned there is that there are too many tricks to lure clients to see you, and worry about the consequence later.

So I'm not looking for the prettiest or best pictures in some way. Unconsciously, I'm looking for some truth in the picture that I can count on, being the bottom line.

Like this picture I just saw on my blogroll, this picture can hardly be used to identify any person. Still there are some personal touches that make it not looking like stock porn pictures. I doubt if I can see anything differently if I'm on the spot, maybe the hair a little longer or shorter. But like I said on the other advertisement post, hints with pictures are more powerful than words. If this is really used on an advertisement, I would be very disappointed if the dining room is not open.

How to write an escort advertisement

I spotted a keyword search for the title a couple of times in the past. I think I wrote about where to advertise, but not about what to write. I don't know, but I know what works for me and what not.

Pictures - there's no excuse not to include something. A vague silhouette still tells people what you are about, unless you want everybody to dream up their own images.

Keep the description of your physical description to a minimum, and leave it to the pictures. Hair color is OK as somebody may be using simple keyword search. But there's no point to pick hair color unless the city is spoiled for choice, in that case there will be proper search functions. Height is OK because you can't lie, not for a few inches. Other numbers are quite useless because I don't think you will honestly write down exactly what is on the scale, or your 3 dimensions. Again if you want to flaunt your perfect dimensions, use pictures; the numbers are quite useless in comparison. Adjectives have no effect on me any more.

If you want to be all things to all people, there's not much you can write, without contradicting yourself when all your ads are tracked and compared over time.

The other important things are what you would do. I know it's a difficult area, especially when it's illegal. The big no no is to write a lot of don'ts, unless you only like clients looking for DOM's. Don't write down things that are generally expected. Use creative images may be a good way instead of writing down something awkward. Some girls say more intimate things are at their discretion, which works for me. Personally, I won't be offended if I don't get it. That will be a challenge. The extras aren't supposed be mechanical, routine. And that she will not be a germophile, allergic to any skin contact. If you really like to see an escort regularly, there have to be more intimacy (not necessarily "GFE"), which some girls cannot manage.

If you want to show off your inner beautiful, it have to be a link to your blog. It's useless to drop some adjectives and expensive labels in the ad.

I prefer gentlemen over 40 = I'm over 45
open minded = me haven't got a clue, perhaps a rip-off

I don't think long ad's are useful - I don't remember any ad that are particularly good.

Background information will be useful, where you grow up, where and how long you lived, your previous jobs. It's hard to lie about these, tell a lot about you, if you don't mind disclosing. Favorite songs and movies are probably not important. I don't think anybody will write down Texas Chainsaw, and that I'm not looking for a date, and I probably won't want to see you if you like my fav songs and movies - perhaps it's useful to write it down after all?

If you are picky about your clients, do it carefully if you rely solely on the response to the ad. I don't mind, it's your own pussy, but this may start flame wars. A good way is to ask for a description of the client. The excuse is to be certain to expect the right person at the door, the CCTV or the hotel lobby. A phone conversation gives you the non-visual clues.

Once on the phone I was asked what do I do for a living. One of my response is "I make chips." "Can you afford it?", she asked after hesitated for a sec. I think she is British or European. She thought I mean "I make fries".

If I think of anything else, I probably update. I probably write one for pictures.

To be or not to be - an escort

Recently, there have been a few posts directly and indirectly about this topic, and some more will be coming too. This happens to be appropriate if I continue on the handbook (or escort 101) series - the beginning of it all. Not that I'm going to write a lot more, just that I don't want to do other things much today.

The so called prom-mis-cure-us (the spell checker can't help me here), is a good quality. Morally, you don't feel guilty about the job, that's quite necessary. Personally I don't think it's worth it to sell sex in order to be somebody you are not. But then there's little difference than some poor girls, when they are 19, decide that they don't want to suffer any more, want to buy, say, an ipod, iphone or a working car, when they want to, like all their other peers. Who am I to judge?

In between, there's the usual keeping up with medical bills, mortgages, etc. Basically, moving down the social scale can be terrifying, because of the unknown, and that you are likely to loose your friends on the current scale. But I would think bankruptcy, moving to a small house, or renting isn't the end of the world. You can always make a comeback, probably easier than if you try to hang on to it no matter what, losing more on the way. And if you can't, get use to it, there's a whole new world down there. Of course if you are close to homeless or need food kitchens, that's a different story.

It's useless to say "don't do drugs". Many are driven into prostitution because of it in the first place. For social users, if you think there's such a thing, I pray for you. I hope to be a social smoker too. But either I chain smoke myself to death, or I don't touch it at all. Genetically, I will fall asleep before I get drunk.

For any reason, I hope you are on the top of it. Naturally, patrons buy happiness, or smile, if they can afford it, if only temporarily. If you are miserable to start with, it will likely be a fast downward spiral.

It's refreshing to see that exit strategies are often discussed. Ideally you have a career job and a side job to supplement your income. When you want to or forced to retire you have something to fall back on. But often it doesn't make sense when you work a lot less hours and earn a lot more on your side job. Earning your way through college is similar. Your 1st graduated job may be a lot worse money wise than your escort job. It's temping to go full time instead.

The happy situations I come across are summer jobs, in safer and/or a lot richer places other than your own. Or waiting for the occasional call after your day job, mostly out of town business travellers (without their wife). And of course some flight attendants, not that there are many escorts among them, but their job fits part-time escorting well.

If you escort full time, I would think when you have enough to retire, it's easier to go into personal investment or start your own business. You don't need somebody to employ you but still you need time to learn, and prepare for the risk, such as extra money to lose. Nowadays, a few years (in escorting) is a long time that your exit plans have to adapt. You don't want to unretire.

Of course looking for someone to support your retirement, like marriage. But well, you have read about difficult relationships. And gold digging for example, is best when you are at your prime, which is also the time you can earn the most - contradicting.

A main risk is addiction to money, or some would say lifestyle. You buy what you like. This is worse than credit card addiction, which I bet most people suffers. This addiction is what drive some from part time into full time, from with an exit strategy to without.

How long will you last? With modern technology, easily a decade or two physically. If you want to stay all natural, not even laser skin enhancement, you need to watch your window of opportunity. Catwalk models start younger and younger, because some girls look their best (slim model wise) at 16, some 12. Their prime time is short lived, if they start their escort job at legal age. On the other hand, some skinny girls for example, looks sexier after 30 with some meat on the bone.

I'm sure there are a lot more that could be said, but they are not in my head now.

Scrap your old pictures!

Too often ladies keep all their professionally taken pictures in their online galleries, say one collection per year. I really don't want to know how you looked before, no matter how gracefully you age.

I always want to rant to my heart's desire about pictures. Firstly, use a professional photographer who also has experience in taking escort pictures - an award wining picture doesn't mean a thing if you do not know what the clients want to see. You don't need to take pictures by yourself using a cell phone camera to get real pictures.

Ideally, three pictures are enough, front, back, and side. If you are not symmetrical, maybe the other side too. All pictures should be taken from head to toe with natural standing postures, which is how most people look at other people. The resolution should be high enough to see some skin textures or complexion. Completely nude pictures are always welcomed - a good photographer can make it as artistic as anything else. Make sure the skin colors are all the same, and if you wear anything, wear the same thing in all the pictures.

No picture cocktails please! You may love to pick the best pictures from your family photo album to display, to cover all the client base. But since women can look totally different the next day, nobody will have a clue what they will end up with. Stick on a single image of you to project. Same hair style, same makeup, same makeover.

You may want to display more than a few pictures, as in a beauty pageant, with elegant evening dress, causal wear, bikini, lingerie and nothing. Or, cheerleader, nurse, vinyl, etc. That's OK but make sure that it looks like the same you in all the pictures - preferably on the same studio session, or at least with same hair color and style.

Some ladies presented only one impossibly attractive picture, which made me pick up the phone at once. I know there may well be some trickery in the picture but I am willing to take the risk. This will not work if there is one more picture, even taken at a slightly different angle. The more you look, the less likely you will develop a crush.

Typical studio background should not be used. The background should contain some focused details, so it's not easy to do post editing. There should be some color as the reference points, so the color distortion due to studio lighting and post editing can easily be detected. How about standing in front of a video test color chart?

No black and whites please! The picture will be very good looking, but I don't know about you.

I understand if you don't want to show your face. Indeed think twice about showing your face. I still have Chanel's first ever Internet pictures and videos. If you hide your face please use good digital techniques. Don't make yourself ugly or even scary.

If you don't show your face in your pictures, there is a common trick to show that it's you in the pictures. Show a unique tattoo or piercing. Without that, you can make love to the lady all night long, but still not sure if the pictures are hers. Maybe for this reason, I like to play doctor and dermatologist doing close examinations. I can tolerate a thumb sized pretty colorful tattoo, and a small belly button piercing.

Don't apply oil to your skin, or take wet pictures. It's too obvious that you are hiding something. One way to prove that your picture is 100% real is to wear a tight bra and then show off the resulting bra lines. Showing off your lovely freckles for example has the same effect.

It may not be well known, that riding on the often seen Cityvibe wooden horse makes your legs look longer by several inches. So don't try postures too original. For example, twisting your waist other than a little means that you have kids. Lying down or leaning means your boobs are falling down. Upside down means you are ugly. Sitting down means you are short or your legs are.

And don't cut off your feet in your pictures. Bare or sandals instead of shoes. I did see one girl that I doubted if she had ten toes.
